Me too. I really liked that book.
Yes!
Thanks Steve. Very kind of you.
Might I suggest something light, like Discworld.
Either that or a good SSRI. :-)
Love that book.
I liked that book. It felt like a slog but an enjoyable slog. I mean I was engaged and captivated throughout.
Now, see what you did. Got me reminiscing and digging into the archives...
Here's some pictures of a floor display I made in my store back in '92 when the book was released. I just noticed that...
Also loved GG.
Yes I would love be to give that book special treatment.
You are in for such a great journey!!!!
Yup. I'm sure everyone's tired of hearing it from me. But that book is so good. I loved it.
20th Century Ghosts
I vote Horns. It was my favorite!!!
Agreed. I loved that book.
I tapped out on page 28.
Ouch. You're throwing in the towel? Not the easiest read, I know.
Loved The Green Mile.
That's a good way of saying it. Horns is a love story at heart. And one of the best love stories I've read.
It's interesting to hear these different opinions. I wasn't overjoyed with Fireman.
I loved NOS4A2. Now..... Horns. Some of you may know how much I've raved about that book before. Horns for me...
I liked Lisey's. There was a part of it I didn't like but all in all, I thought it was a good book. Haven't read Dreamcatcher.
Was my least favorite of the three as well.
I picked up an ARC for the new Alan Moore book Jerusalem that will be published next month. It arrived yesterday and I looked at it and decided that it's not something I felt ready to tackle right...
Reading Old Man's War by John Scalzi after seeing it recommended somewhere here. Enjoying it so far.
I don't often read two books concurrently but right now I'm reading So, Anyway..., the autobiography of John Cleese and after many years of planning to read it I finally started Catch-22.
