I personally didn't like the binding design. That said, it's closer to a 1st Edition than I currently own!

Be patient, Matt. They're at about their $ limit in worth, I think. I bought my set of 7 (all with DJ's and the Gunslinger was a 2nd Edition) for just under $300 a few years ago. Those deals still...

It was a good deal and hope someone here got it. I just recently paid $85 through ABE and thought I got a steal!!!

He'll still never come close to $2000 unless someone not knowing the true market value comes along . Like you, I'd sell them individually and use the standard auction style, starting each at .99...

That's about what I had--right around $1000. I gave a few more dollars to The Gunslinger at about $7-$750. The final 3 books could be had, in NF condition for $30 total to a thrifty shopper.
