Looks to me like they colored in a white spot on the cover with a sharpie. In comic book collecting that is called "color touch" and it is classified as amateur restoration and is the kiss of death...

That copy has run a few times and gone unsold in the past few weeks. I think carlosdetweiller commented on the flaws in previous auctions that were notated in this thread.
