The correct title is probably If It Bleeds since King has - according to Lilja - revealed it's about a journalist/vampire that feeds off the energy of people while chasing his stories
The book was good and in good hands this could turn into a pretty good show..but yeah, no more Under the Dome or Mist TV mess
They can be found online, as well as the letters, on Daily Camera's website. I made a pdf of them four years ago
Different stokes for different folks, but some of the adaptations with scripts by King has been pretty good. Not all, but some. Since this is a very personal story for King, I'm sure he will do his...
Now that would be an amazing thing. If so, let's have Pinfall (about time), Rainy Season, Home Delivery and a few more King tales that would fit into this franchise. But I'm sure they just replaced...
So Gray Matter has replaced Survivor Type? Still, great news!
I'm one of those who liked the miniseries version of The Shining, and I'm happy to see that Doctor Sleep will not be in honor of Kubrick's movie version.
Did you get the copy of BDN with the letter reprints? If so, can you provide a date of publication and page number? I assume the letters are each headed under the dates of their original publications...
No, there's never been any talk about that, so it's safe to say it's a stand-alone novel.
Tahiti Islamists? Two Indians? True Indigos? The Island? The Idiot? The Innocents? ARGH, it 's killing me! Can't wait for this announcement!
What excerpt or nonfiction piece appeared in Inner Sanctum?
Ooops, I should have read the entire post so I would have learnt that it contains an excerpt from Bag of Bones
What excerpt or nonfiction piece appeared in Inner Sanctum?
A few new things I haven't seen mention here yet:
-King has a one page contribution to the book, "The Book Club Journal", a recommended reading list, published by "2018...
As others have suggested, it seems like Brady went into the mind of Lou before he died, so the third season will likely have zip to do with the second book, and be composed of mostly new material....
If it's as good as the Mr. Mercedes show, I'm all in. But, yeah, a feature film from such a short novel makes more sense
The Outsider was terrific, the best King book in a long time. I suppose Elevation is to be taken as a light read, an upbeat tale that perhaps isn't that strong or memorable as so many of King's...
I understand how these kids with masks might put some off, but I'm fine with them as long as they have something to do with the past, as in flashbacks...but then again, they might turn up as ghosts...
Probably more than one. Plus stories by Joe Hill, Joe Lansdale, and others. Now we're talking! I don't care about the poster not being so fancy. I'm more interested in this upcoming show now than...
Just how I feel too. However, based on Nicotero, it should be better than the dreadful Creepshow 3. I still would love to see some King stories done this way
