Finders Keepers on ABE from Housing Works?
Wow, Bob, you must have incredible records!!
I bought them both so they are still in my collection. I have good records of things I have bought. But Mr. Rabbit Trick is the one that amazes...
Yes, I think so too.
The deleted Chapter 58: Newslog in the manuscript, of which the first page (page 517) is shown in post #2547. It's four pages in the manuscript of newspaper reports. I'm not sure what After The Play...
Very nice! The last one I saw was 2/14 on eBay. The last one prior to that was 12/10 by Simon at Fantastic Literature. I think those are the only ones I have seen.
Fascinating work. Interesting comparison. You have much more patience and diligence than I do.
When Chris Cavalier sold his collection in 2006 (hard to believe that was already 10 years ago) there was this item listed for sale:
"Photocopy of the manuscript called The Shine in binder from...
I think that is a nice set of books, Jon. As crazy and fanatical as we collectors are, I, too, am amazed that these are still available (and at a discounted price)!
The dj on your UK Christine proof is the best I have seen. They usually have significant wear at the spine ends because of the way they were folded to fit the smaller proof. Very nice!
Thanks Shac. It may take me 6 months to list all of them 1 per week, so I may do a couple at a time.
We've got time.
Thanks Bob, I just had to check, but yes, that was me. Sorry.
No apologies necessary. I'm glad someone here got it. I couldn't resist bidding since it looked so nice.
Did you get that UK Cujo on eBay just recently? Seller's user ID fairyfeet68? If so, I was bidding on that one too. Congrats.
Nice! I don't have either of those but wish that I did.
It looks like you already have the UK Black House sampler (bottom left in above photo). But what is just behind it?
Thanks John. It took me a while to get one. Luckily I found a seller with four copies. They still have three available ranging between $250-295. I've never seen a UK TBOBD proof for sale, so I'm...
And Firestarter. That's the other one I need to upgrade as mine is the unpriced export edition. I am finding it difficult to find a copy of the 1st I'm happy with.
I think I am still...
Sure enough. It is listed in Brooks' bibliography as Item B132, No. 4. However, since it was published in 1999, their claim that "Blind Willie" is unpublished cannot be true. "Blind Willie" was first...
Thanks Paul. I would recommend you try The Passage again. A bit of a slow burner initially but great series so far.
I had just an opposite experience. I thought the first hundred or so...
I think 25 pounds is a steal. I paid much more for one back in 2007 when they came out. I've always wondered why some promotional material seems so scarce to collectors. If the purpose of the...
