Proof pricing is definitely tricky. Proofs are an acquired taste, which doesn't help. Personally, I was only ever interested in 'original' proofs, not proofs of reprints (like most of CD's proofs...

Is it just me, or has the proof market grown smaller recently? There are quite a few nice proofs for sale at the moment but there doesn't seem to be much activity...
