The UK-based collector is Jon(athan) but yes, it is quite a coincidence. Not many big proof collectors out there and to have two of them selling their collections at the same time... I wish them both...
Is Jon planning to sell his other proofs as well, or are these just surplus/duplicate copies? He has one of the best proof collections out there. I sold him a lot of my stuff over the years. Great...
Has anyone ever posted this one before? It's from Gerald's FB page from a couple of months ago. Never seen one before.

Blockade Billy 1st edition + ARC + white proof, housed in a custom-made clamshell box:...
Wow, some pretty great stuff there...
Looking forward to seeing it, Mike!
Still no pics of the UK Outsider proof?
I'm also looking forward to seeing pics of the UK Outsider proof. As for the Scribner proof, I'm glad they returned to using the pain blue wrappers instead of the full cover art. I always liked the...
The Misery proof is a nice one to have but $750 is about five to six times too high... (that's not your fault, J.)
Those used to go for $25...
Proof pricing is definitely tricky. Proofs are an acquired taste, which doesn't help. Personally, I was only ever interested in 'original' proofs, not proofs of reprints (like most of CD's proofs...

Is it really a separate state, though? I've also seen Firestarter proofs (and many other proofs) with and without stickers... I don't recall the specifics of the orange DT2 proofs and what sets them...
A superb addition, Jon! And very nice, Bev!
The sales I'm referring to were probably about eight years ago for Night Shift and two years ago for The Stand but I may be mistaken. Not very recent in any case. The Stand especially was in bad...
The ones I've seen for sale since I started collecting (and learned about proofs in the first place) went in the $3000-5000 range if I recall correctly (one or two copies of Night Shift and a mangled...
Here's the pic (proof on the left):

Gerald posted a proof of the UK edition of Cycle of the Werewolf on his FB page.
Mine is for sale at $500 as well (see Classifieds thread).
