I quite enjoyed it. I was a child in the 70s and watched lots of Nature vs. Man movies. While this reminded me somewhat of those stories, I would describe it more like Stephen King's Babe.

Pretty sure. It takes place in 14th century...

He is Medved (brother of Morozko, The Frost King) and he wants to escape and destroy the world.

It's a story based on Russian folklore and the bear isn't so nice. It's actually a trilogy but I've only read the first book so far. Maybe the bear gets nicer :rofl:
