As far as I know, none of the Green Mile pb edirions were wrapped by the publisher. With a print run of 2 million copies rach, a wrapping of each book woild be too costly.

I also bought one when they first came out but I left it in the shrink wrap. I remember some discussion about whether they were all first printings or not.

See post #35 in my collections thread. I have no idea as to its value. I paid a little over $300 for mine in 2001. They are fairly scarce. I have no ides why they were done or how they got out.
