I'll definitely pick those up as well! Thanks!!
Any suggestions on the best way to protect Castle Rock Newsletters? Awhile ago, someone suggested I keep them folded and place them in magazine bags with boards... but I'm not sure if that's the way...
I like the salesmanship there.
Yeah, the "cover printed in USA" one is Book Club. If yours looks like that, it's probably the same. How do the copyright pages compare?
Not sure about the copy you're referring to, but for future posting... I think you only need one thread for the topic. I'm sure some of the other members will have more input on the odd book. The...
Niiiice! I worked at a video store and movie theatre when I was younger, so I've always loved collecting films. In fact, I met my husband on a movie set and we got married in the theatre I worked...
The school district I work for purchases book covering and protection materials in bulk for the collection from companies like Demco. If someone from the community asked us to cover a book for them,...
Are you saying you personally don't see much value, or are you rendering an opinion on the value/importance to the King market?[/QUOTE]
Personally. Much like some people would probably say there...
Contact a local library (school or public) to see if they would protect your books for a donation. The best softcover protection I've found is from a company called Colibri which makes fitted covers.

Is there...
Thanks a bunch for all the quick replies! It certainly makes me feel productive on my lunch break. ;)
This is definitely interesting to me, because I'm not sure I've ever paid much attention to the dust jackets on my books... and if that is the only way to distinguish between a true first and a BCE,...
Wow, even if it says it is Viking Press? I didn't realize Book Club editions didn't always say Book Club. Good to know!
(Also, I edited my post to add this question, but you must have replied...
Would a copy of Different Seasons with no price on the dust jacket still be a first edition first printing, or does the missing price indicate it is a later run?
Also, the hardcover graphic novel...
The Four Past Midnight apparently has one that's gold and one that isn't?
Can anyone direct me to a picture of the 2nd state Four Past Midnight? I'd like to see the difference between first and second states.
Yup. No dust jacket on the one I've got, it's the red Library one. Which, from what I understand, was printed after the ones with the dust jackets? So, while there isn't a "true" first edition,...
Tetris is totally not my game. Do you play on any other platform or arcade? That's an awesome score. I'm also a classic arcade gaming fan.
