I agree. My story was super-awesome, but now it'll never see the light of day. :(
I'm sure a similar thought applies to many of the other stories as well.

For the record, I have received my refund.
Bill, this is a thread to discuss the art and writing of a prospective (now cancelled) book. It's not a thread to discuss personal situations. I don't see any harm or callousness in continuing to...
That is amazing. I'd buy the book just for that alone.
Shannon has committed to issuing refunds. Not sure of the time frame.
I agree 100% and would still hope there is a path forward. Part of it is selfish, I'll admit it--I want my story published! It's the best thing I'll ever write. But I also want to read everyone...

I've never heard of that Peter Deligdisch guy but I really like those samples you posted. And Erik Wilson is a good choice also.
I'm David Swearingen, and thrilled to be a part of the second installation of In Mint Condition. I've only written two stories in my life and, well, I've surprised myself by both of them making the...
The hell?
You know, I kindof envy you folks that have extra stories just lying around. :)
If I want to try to get a second story published, I've got to write a second story.
