I thought ~$2000 is the going rate for the #d, I would expect the lettered to go for more, even though the only difference is the letter on the limitation page.

I would say that is a picture of the town on the inside of the plastic. If it was a miniature it would be 200 dollars. :)

So this confirms Viking using a number line for their 2nd printings very early, but not using them for 1st printings until later in the 80's.

Over twice what the last set I was watching was bid up to, but didn't sell due to a reserve.

Was this set really $150 to begin with? I got mine in a deal with the artist's edition of DT7 for $150.

In the condition these books are in, are they really even worth that starting bid?
