I thought we were just talking about the trade edition. I agree that signed copies will be scarce.
Just a small correction, too--my notes show about 500-600 signed trade copies of Full Dark, No...
According to Bev Vincent, the first print run of the Scribner Doctor Sleep was 1.1 million. Not scarce.

I think the point RF was making that there are a lot of collectors out there that would prefer a flat-signed book instead of a book personalized to someone else.

OK, change in my fortune! Through various phone calls and emails, I got Mark Twain House to free up an additional 40 VIP tickets that were set aside for sponsors, so I now got VIP tickets through...

Strangely, I just received a SECOND copy of a signed first printing of Ridley Pearson's The Risk Agent! It was also sent in a padded envelope but arrived without a problem.

I just got my Groening book today. It's a graphic novel, Bart Simpson Out to Lunch. It's a first printing large paperback, signed and remarqued (doodled?) by Groening.
