Seems like a copyright violation. Its well known King has requested no more printings of the book.

Unfortunatly, they never presented it as a 1st/1st, and did show the evidence it was a printed copy, so the buyer is probably SOL once they realize what they bought.

A wee bit overpriced for what looks like the trade edition (even the limited edtion, I think this would be overpriced)

Well, I am not a signature expert, and rarely ever offer my opinion, but, I am wondering about something. It looks like a newer signature, and I thought king doesn't like to sign Rage, or am I wrong?

Ok, he has offered a partial refund, and it sounds like he will accept the return if I go that route. I have until Sunday to decide. He has offered a $50 refund, so that would make the cost $250.

Was it the same bidder that keep on outbidding you? Then that just means your bid was not greater then his max bid. The current bid will always be a certain percentage above the next biggest bid. ...

All of that sellers items are priced the same. I have seen it happen where someone goes on vacation or is unavailable and raises their prices to ridiculous amounts so they don't have to worry with...
