I like the Sandman books. At least those I've read so far. There is a...
I'm reading Miracleman.
I didn't like the first issue much... but then it got pretty good after that.
I don't think I've read the entire Stand comics, but those themes are prevalent in the novel. So if you don't like them.... you might not like the novel. That being said in a text piece like a novel...
Kirkman's ne the book, would that be Outcast? I read the first issue of that yesterday. It was pretty interesting.
Rebellion:
2000 AD
Judge Dredd Megazine
DC:
Animal Man
Swamp Thing
All Star Western
The new Sandman prequel ( I forget the name. I might trade-wait the rest of these...but I doubt it.)
I'm currently reading:
2000 AD and Judge Dredd Magazine Variable quality as anthology but pretty good.
All Star Western, Animal Man and Swamp Thing (Not so New 52 DC Comixology downloads.) Again...
Captain Britain- A Crooked World.
I wasn't sure of this at the start, but it's pretty good now. I'm not that acquainted with Captain Britain (despite being British myself), but I'm finding Captain...
I recently read the third and fourth Sweet Tooth volumes. Good stuff.
It was pretty special wasn't it? I'll admit I got a bit lost along the way (my memory isn't great in some ways). Worth a reread, I think. That last episode, Trifecta was great.
I picked up the first two collections at the library and though it was pretty good.
Yeah, I like Nicholai Dante. I've got the UK equivalent of that collection, The Romanov Dynasty (I think the American name is better) and the second volume The great Game, and I read the latter...
That's one book I've never read. I enjoyed the film though.
I picked up the two volumes (well technically it's four volumes as each book contains two.) of The Losers written by Andy Diggle and drawn (mostly) by Jock.
Still munching my way through the first...
Yes! When I went to FP a few weeks back, one of the guys showed us a bit of footage from that film on his phone. He actually took part in it. (He mainly played the role of Minty during the...
Not so much currently reading, but a heads up of something coming soon (I didn't really want to start a new thread for this.)
Dredd film prequel. Not sure why they're emphasising the 3D but...
Oh...
I did a bit of Sweet Tooth research on Comixology hoping they'd have a deal for collected series (so far it seems they don't, you have to buy em individually, although granted, cheaper than each of...
I got 3 comic trades from my local library recently. They include:
Sweet Tooth. : The second volume. I read it last night, and it was great. A post apocalyptic story with an unusual premise. I'll...
Okay, not so much a 'what are you reading' post (although in a sense it's true as I am reading 2000 AD) I was interested to see this news on the official 2000 AD site. I never thought there'd be a...
A quick taster for you.
EDIT- I see there's a Dredd thread in the film section so I'll take it there: Clicky.
Yeah, I never expected to have a trailer a year in advance or anything like that, but something a little sooner than less than 3 months, at least. (The poster is awesome, though, and a lot better...
