To me it just doesn't have the "feel" of a 1986 signature. The "ing" in King seems all wrong for the time period and looks more like his more recent rushed signatures. The "g" is really off. Compare...

Still confident that its legit. Looking at the date, and the little things like the 86, and at the bottom of the/ there is that upstoke at the end. Yours seem to be with a thinner pen than the other....
