None are 1st Editions, rather Book Club Editions. Each separate bookplate signature is different, so I don't know about the C&P, but the "S" is the same in all--so if it's a bad "S", it's consistent.

Brice, I agree that the sig looks good. Even before I read further, though, I thought "it's big." I don't know how hard it would be to sign your name larger than you normally do.

It seems that at most of the signings he signed the title page...not the FEP. The sig's not bad, IMO...I mean it's pretty klunky, but SK's sig is these days. Again, I'll defer to the experts. :)

It's definitely a bookplate, so the "Pocket Books" could be placed on a Scribner hardcover. As to the actual sig, I'll leave that to the experts.

I agree--there is nothing right with that signature. The COA is even a bigger joke. I did enough research to know that that company does, in fact, exist, but I can't imagine they were looking at that...

$400 seems a little steep for a paperback, even a first edition.
