That's exactly my thinking. Already watched Episode 4 last night, so anyone feel free to join in!

I think the point of this isn't so much that it's a prequel to Black Widow, it's setting up her sister Yelena, who will be the new Black Widow in the future. That's just my guess.

It does, but I feel like if you're new to Star Wars, you must see the original trilogy first, no matter what. So I want to replicate that experience.
