Hidden Details In Tarantino Movies That We Never Noticed
James, I'm always impressed by your output on writing pieces like this. I'll be sure to read it today my friend.
Quentin Tarantino: The Social Network is 'hands down' the best film of 2010s
I like Guy Ritchie's films (well some of them), but yeah there's no comparison for me. Tarantino is just a much better storyteller all around.
This thread reminded me that I want to scope out which restaurants and bars from the film were real so I can visit them all
It's a special film for sure. I've been thinking about it a lot.
People get offended over anything these days. Not surprised this non-issue was blown out of proportion.
I'll give it a whirl
1. Pulp Fiction
2. Kill Bill (1,2)
3. Inglourious Basterds
4. Reservoir Dogs
5. Once Upon A Time.. in Hollywood
6. The Hateful Eight
7. Django Unchained
8. Jackie Brown
Yes, it's been branded as 'Revenge Fantasy'. Essentially its wish fulfillment.
Very true. I could see that being the case.
I think that's bullshit though. He's got tons of years left....
Additionally, it can also be seen as a rumination of his own filming legacy reaching its twilight years. QT feels he needs to pass the baton on sooner than later.
I'll probably catch it next week on Tuesday (cheaper tickets!)
Let us know how you like it Heather.
Margot Robbie..
Watching those two playing off each other should be QT-fueled gold.

I don't like his retro active admissions of guilt. Only reason he's saying it is because his name is tethered to the maelstrom currently engulfing Hollywood and his damaging words are being unearthed.
I think it would be a match made in heaven. Deadpool's universe is ripe for perverse, wall breaking humor and tongue in cheek violence and would mesh well with QT's style.
It's closer to not...
There are whispers that Tarantino is being tapped to direct Deadpool 2 since Tim Miller left the project for creative differences.
I would love to see Tarantino tackle a sci fi movie.
Science fiction films have very rigid trappings and often drown themselves in their own seriousness so to see his subversive take on that genre...
I have not.
Let me see if Netflix has it on disc.
Planet Terror and Sin City are my favorite Rodriguez flicks, a peg down is Desperado.
From Dusk Til Dawn is boat loads of fun and is a guilty pleasure of mine, as is Machete.
I enjoyed Once...
Oh shit, good catch.
Yes, that's definitely a blooper. As Jackson himself explains, "what you didn't count on was (Goggins) and myself being on that stagecoach."
