Nice job! I remember from doing the UK 1sts and Proof Catalogs that it's labour-intensive but rewarding work. There's an older thread that lists a lot of books about King and his work - I'll post the...
Oh no, Alan - I wish you hadn't said that. Now I will have to check all my US trade editions :( cursed OCD!
*edit: just kidding :) I did check my Dolores copy though, and you're right - it's also...
Did you guys know that there are also export editions of this particular title? Both my copies (white-on-red and red-on-white) have a full number line, gray boards and a $27.95 price on the DJ (upper...
Yes. The fact that it is now a book in its own right sets it apart from earlier appearances.
Agree.
I checked but there's actually not much to take pictures of. Only Ubris has a Table of Contents, and none of the King pieces have any artwork with them.
I still don't own a scanner but I'd be happy to provide pics of King's contributions in my Ubris, Contraband, and Moth issues.
I could go on and on as well so I decided right from the start that I will not care about pic size, layout, fonts and so on in the Proofs Catalog.
I forgot to mention that I also uploaded a bunch...
I updated the proofs section - there's now a Table of Contents post, I added the PLANT and SIX STORIES proofs, and I added some of the manuscripts that Hannes acquired recently. Additional...
Looks great, thank you Alan!
The entry for the US paperbacks has six pics but if you can take one that clearly shows all six covers, I would use it.
BUMP. I have only four of them (pathetic, I know) so I would really appreciate it if someone who owns the full set could take a pic (or six) and send them to me or Jerome so they can be included in...
If the UK omnibus is considered a 1st trade edition someone who owns the book can add it. Or should the US omnibus be removed? If these are included, should the other UK omnibus editions also be...
I will provide both, if you don't mind waiting a couple more days. I don't mind doing this kind of stuff - I usually have the laptop standby when my girlfriend is reading a book so it really doesn't...
I finished uploading the UK trade editions. I think I got all books covered except The Green Mile.
1) It turns out that I only have four of the six first printing PBs. Another illusion (of me...
The consensus (I think) is that these are a kind of 'gift' editions.
I know Mr. Rabbit Trick has one, otherwise I can provide one - but it will have to be tomorrow. The one I posted in my collection thread is low quality:
...
Jerome has slightly rearranged the Catalog and added a First Editions Wiki. The US trades have moved and I'm in the process of adding the UK trades. I'm including photos of the books rather than...
Well, there are some 'non-fiction pieces' in Brooks' book that existed as text on webpages only... and I'm pretty sure that at least some people have printed those out.
