The only thing I'd want out of those is a third Jack Sawyer book. I think DT and IT are done, and I'm fine with that.

That's what I thought about Part 1 so I'm taking everything with a grain of salt.
Wonder why they wouldn't do a back-to-back instead? Or even move the re-release to September to coincide with Part II?
Thanks for posting! I totally missed it.
Yeah, I think that was my main issue with it. It did feel too safe. Nowhere near the levels of horror/suspense/psychological drama in the book.
Yeah, "safe" is a good way to put it.
Yes! It doesn't make sense to me to put so much emphasis and work into the costume, make-up, etc. and have him nearly running all the time. It wasn't scary. It was annoying.
Did your opinion of...
Saw it today and though I loved the kids' acting, casting, and the "feel" of Derry, the movie overall didn't do a whole lot for me. Even though it was over two hours AND we're getting a second part,...
I haven't yet, but hoping to see it soon.
Yes! I'm with you 100%. We can be grumpy old men together.
Good choice. I try to go before 12 for just that purpose (if I'm fortunate enough to go on a weekday, even better).
What's a few more weeks after years?
No way in hell I'm going opening weekend. The general public leaves much to be desired in terms of horror movie-watching etiquette.
Awesome, Kris! Congrats! I've called in and won a few radio contests, but they've never called me!
No spider? Aw, man. One of my favorite parts of the book and least favorite of the mini-series.
Saw the new It AND Dark Tower trailers with Atomic Blonde today. I don't know that I've ever seen two trailers of different King adaptations before the same movie before. :o
Well, you never know. Look at Alien: Covenant. They released a few prologues prior to the movie.
I was going to say the same thing about the Interludes. That's a good example of trimming the fat without losing any of the substance of the novel.
135 minutes? Wow, if true that's great. :)
I like the first poster with Georgie much, much better.
