I'd leave it on my list for 2017, even if I didn't finish it until 2018.
I loved this one.
I'm almost halfway through and feel the same. There's so much that could be excised and you'd never miss it. And yes, WAY too many characters and plotlines too small to care about.
You know what, I wouldn't doubt it. :lol:
I usually stick it out because I'm paranoid whatever book I'm reading will get better right after I quit it. Plus I hate starting and not...
Still reading Lord of the Flies. I'm convinced I'm going to die with this book in my hands.

How was The Handmaid's Tale? I didn't know it was a book until the adaptation came around.
Yup, that's exactly it. With the dog, the glass of water, the rolled-up magazine insert, there was a lot more that he did with things "happening" than I would have thought possible.
I enjoyed it. I think it was better than I thought it would be going into it. Not one of my top King books, but very enjoyable.

Yeah, the last thing I read was The Fireman. I finished it in December, but it was such a long one that I felt reading fatigue after. :lol: I took a small break after that, but between being unable...
