An interesting understated horror movie is "Seconds" starring, of all people, Robert Redford.
Very nice! I especially like the Crimson Queen... the spider webbed clothing very nicely rendered... what medium/s did you do those in?

Not quite the most recent movie I saw, but "Inception" had maybe several of the most interesting visual moments that I've seen so far this year.
