The gift that keeps on giving!
That's interesting. I've never really heard of a CT accent either, so maybe it's a case of people coming from a heavily-accented place (Boston, New York, etc.) and noticing an absence of an accent in...
Oh yeah. "wooder" for water, "zink" for sink, "door-dur" for daughter. It's very 1950s/60s Baltimore. My grandma is a prime example.
I live in Baltimore. That's more of an old-school Baltimore accent rather than PA (though the Wawa and hoagie ones are spot-on).
I'm surprised no one posted/commented about the Eddie Murphy show this week. I DVRed it and watched it yesterday and I think I laughed hard at nearly every sketch (except the one at the North Pole at...
Yes, I do appreciate the cameos. Any time they want to bring in Rachel Dratch and Maya Rudolph is fine by me!
Also, do you guys watch the SNL Thanksgiving compilation special they play every year?...
Really? I DVR'ed it and was immediately glad I didn't stay up until 1am to watch it live.

Are we surprised by this?
The lobster sketch was pretty clever.
That was a great one because it's so accurate. My mom watches all those Hallmark Christmas movies so I'm well aware of the familiar tropes and situations.
Did you watch The Carmichael Show? She was on that. And pretty funny, too.
I didn't watch live, but surprise sketches like that make me wish I had. That was great (and really clever).
Yeah, I saw that this afternoon. I liked them both (Vanessa more). The people I like keep leaving.
I loved that one.
I won tickets in their lottery a few years ago but the host (Charlie Day, with Maroon 5 as the musical guest) didn't really get me excited. I'm glad I didn't end up going, though, because I watched...
