That's just absolutely extraordinary Ari! I've never seen anything like it. Congratulations!!!!
Thank you! Now that I know it's Crepaldi I should be able to track it down... He does such great work. Thank you again!
This is some of the most beautiful marbled paper I've ever seen and I am a marbled paper fanatic.
WOW
I'd buy a couple sheets of this in a heartbeat
This must be the RN copy from eBay - a very fair price for a VERY pretty book!! I love the embedded plate.
Great get - congrats!!
Amazing slipcase. Just phenomenal design and execution. Wow. Congrats!
SUPER COOL! Glad you were finally able to track one down :)
WHAT?? I completely missed it!! Glad you said something - I'll add one on to my next Suntup order
One of my favorite covers of all time! Hoping to see a Suntup print of it one day :)
Glorious! I know that most people here are gaga for Whelan (for good reason!) but I've always been more partial to Maitz and that is my second favorite work of his after the canonical Desperation...

BIG CONGRATS!! I know you were worried about being able to be present for the birth - I hope you were able to! If not, I'm glad that you at least ended up with a healthy mama and baby.
Extraordinary - love it!
I have not gotten to the point of collecting original art (or King-related art, I should say), but if I ever do I think I would try to get a Maitz painting first....
This also confirms that 125 was signed on July 5 - something I had seen in SK Collector numbers but not verified! This makes it more likely (but not yet certain) that the rarest day for this book is...
I got a neat thing today!
Unusual, kind of rare but not super expensive, and right up my alley:

Very curious about this!!
:sharepopcorn:
Wonderful! A beautiful piece by itself and a nice tie-in to the Suntup releases. I'm jealous
When Misery was released, I tried my hardest to completely avoid all pictures of the book until I could see it in person. One night I scrolled down too fast in a thread, saw a flash of this pattern,...
Thanks everyone! And again, big thanks to Paul for running such a cool contest and firemonkey for being so sleuthy to begin with!
And Kris, I agree - while I LOVE my new book, the full story...
While it's been a shitty couple of weeks personally, it's been a GREAT couple of weeks book-wise, and I have a couple of things that I've been meaning to post. Here is the biggest and best and first!...
