Even though I think whichever volume of the series is my favorite one while I'm reading it, I think this one really may be the very bestest of all.

I'll never forget the first time I saw the cover art on this book and thought, "What the hell's up with Luke Skywalker and the bird dude?"

I love them all, but this one's my favorite. I've probably read it a dozen times, and it thrills and delights me every time.
