Almost finished Ritual by Mo Hayder. It's a brilliant thriller with all the right gory parts :)
Finally getting back to Ian McEwan's Atonement.
Started Atlantis by Pierre Bordage yesterday. He is a brilliant French sci-fi writer and he has won a few prizes for one of his series.
So far the story's really good: it's about a Tunguz warrior...
How much do you like it Letti? I thought it was a nice read :)
As usual, just the opposite with bears: loved the whole book like nothing on earth, and was somewhat annoyed - even bored - by all the fuss in the end....
Just started Mo Hayder's Skin. It starts pretty good and I'm expecting it to be better as the story unfolds :)
Are you reading them all at one, Ruthful?
I'm almost finished with Ruth Rendell's Not in the flesh. It's not as good as Talking to strange men :(
I gotta go and buy Under the Dome sometime soon. I don't want to have people spoil me the fun in all those threads out there...
Tons of books about the media since I'm handing a thesis at the end of the year. Interesting but you want some fantasy sometimes...
I'm into philosophy and law right now so I've just started reading "Le contrat social" by Jean-Jacques Rousseau. Hopefully I'll soon be over and can start reading Hobbes again :)
Mill's "On Liberty" as well as a bunch of Korean poetry collections.
I actually am looking for a good read after finishing Balzac's "Le Père Goriot", which was brilliant after I got further than...
These are my two personal favourite apart from the Tower, so go ahead, they're brilliant! :)
Finished Armance yesterday, Monkey this morning and I'm more than halfway through Marlowe's Faustus, which is really different from Goethe's version. I've already got a lot of books to finish the...
Hey! - you the original, .net, stonerosedoor?
Well met - again! Long time no see![/QUOTE]
That's me, yeah. Long time no see ManOfWesternesse. How've you been?
I'm currently reading "Monkey" by Wu Cheng-En. It's a XVth century Chinese book telling the journey to the West in a more entertaining way, and if you're familiar with the uses of traditional Chinese...
I'm currently reading both the history of Europe since 1850 cause I'm taking a very difficult exam in March and I'm almost sure it's going to be the subject, and the State of the World 2008 (that's...
I might be the only one but I still think it's not such a great book so you needn't be that worried not to have read it yet. You'd better read it one day though.
