Yep, I got one because I'm a lifetime subscriber to PS, but I don't know if I would have paid for one. It's just a picture book. Cool, but worth about $40 max, imo.
No speckled ends are not the same as a remainder mark. Specked ends are used to help hide dust and the yellowing of the page ends on books. Publisher's stains (ie the top pages are stained red) and...
Aha, that is the place Bob, thanks! and thanks to everyone else.
Thanks Bev, but that's not the site though.
And congrats Karen (I missed the post)! Sounds like a good lawyer to help you out like that.
This is actually a Dean Koontz question, but there is a online book store that sells first signed editions for a few authors (I think they are in LA?), and they always have Koontz sign books for them...
Sucks to hear about this Karen, hopefully things work out in the end.
Actually the best place to start is here. Ask around for what your looking for, most people who sell here offer very fair prices, because they are not out to make a huge profit, they just want to...
This is a question about signatures. I noticed someone over at the haunt loking to check if his Carl Sagan "Contact" signature is real or not.
I know Ceri and this site does great work with King,...
Just to note, not only with Camelot but with all booksellers (including abebooks or ebay), they are usually all willing to haggle. Especially with the higher end books that take a while to sell.

These are the ways they are filed in my bookshelf.
First Editions, chronologically
The Dark Tower
S/L US books
S/L UK books
And then others (about, magazines, etc)
And that’s it. I don’t...
Congrats!
btw, I noticed the price has dropped to $195 on Amazon. Still double the price, but considering there's about 100 book sellers trying to sell copies, they started dropping prices and...
Man I can't believe I canceled my order. I had this pre-ordered, but decided I didn't want it. Heck I thought there would be no chance they would sell out of so many copies. Oh well...

Thanks Jerome!
This might be an offensive question to thedarktower.org, but I hope not.
Anyway, does anyone know of any book collecting forums and/or web sites? I post here and over at the Horror Mall, which...
I remember this one Jerome. This was great, please show it again!
For me it's even higher. I usually won't buy a book unless the dust jacket is perfect. The only exceptions are when I can't afford a pristine copy, and a flawed copy is a cheaper (in my range)...
Just out of curiosity what would on expect to pay to have a custome slipcase made? Just something plain that fits,I don't care about the extra bells and whistles.
The reason I'm asking is from...
