After watching the unboxing on FB I'm really not that impressed. $600 being the only option for a signed copy!
I may order the $75 edition. But no urger for the others.

One of these days I'm going to get around to reading these. I have an early BOTM club hardcover edition of the first volume that I bought cheap years ago.

The my quickly reissued this set without GW, making that first set a small collectors edition.

Might have to invest in one of those.

That and plastic is horrible unless it's archival. And it tends to trap moisture that causes mold. I always cringe when I see books in plastic.

I've never understood the appeal of having publishers shrink wrap on books since the plastic is not archival and hence can be harmful to the book.
