I just wanted to add that I've finally read SL and thought it was amazing. I have read and own most SK books but finally read this classic. Had me up late to finish but well worth it.:shoot:

This and DOTT are my favorites... usually. I was totally into the series and this book starts to finish is amazing. After the back story and flashback heavy Wizards (which I love too) this digs back...

I loved this one to. Alot begins to come together and it kinda is pideon-holed tween V & VII as far as action and major developments. Still the world of the tet jumps and amazes still.

This is in line. I've heard the jonesy mr. gray dialog is great.
For any Tower fan this is absolutely required reading.(also see Insomnia!) The Talisman too, but this and the last few tower books are key to DT7.IMO of course. You really could even read this first...
I love these books. Desperation has the more fleshed story, but this has a really cool style and I thought the Seth/Tak character was F'n the most disturbing angle on Tak in either book. I loved him...
