If the spine is unfaded as stroppy mentions above, I would still offer less than 400. The upper left corner of the front cover shows some creasing/crumpling that indicates the jacket was manhandled...

Just a guess, but I’d say anywhere from 350 to 500, depending on condition and the content of the inscription. I couldn’t see it going much higher since there’s the signed/limited to temper the price.

One changed hands in the last year or two for 17500.

I like that inscription too. Paul’s not the only game in town, Flagg and Merlin1958 have had some beauty rebinds done as well:)

A signed ex-library first edition? Sounds like a book that would be a great candidate for a Suntup/DR rebinding:)

I wouldn’t pay over 100 bucks for it, even if it’s in good condition. For an ex-library first, I would comfortably pay 50-75 dollars, but sellers are usually looking for more than that.

Yes, there was a major shift in my King collecting because of Suntup. I no longer collect NEW King items and my collection in now focussed on King signed items from the 20th Century....
