Luckily I never intended to watch ANY DT movie. Quite simply they can't come close to the movie in my mind. Because of this I'm basically fine with whatever changes they make.

I was proposing Whoopi playing SK.
I loved that show when I was a kid. I never new Ron Perlman played the beast. I still think Viggo would be a great Roland or the lead actor (I don't know his name) in Hell on Wheels.
P.S. And of...
I'll be playing Eddie Dean.
Now I'm having visions of Roland dancing and singing in briefs, a button down shirt, socks, and sunglasses ala Risky Business.

I honestly can't see Crowe or Viggo as Roland.
I'm really hoping the world moves on before this movie can happen.
Well, if they MUST do that I hope they pick the right ummm....actress.
Oh, when it comes to a DT movie I am quite positive.
Oh, no doubt. I'm about 99% confident in their capacity to fuck it up. I have no plans to watch it.
Cue me hunting them down?
Just for clarification: really satisfying ending =roland climbing the tower holding hands with all members of the new and old tet singing kumbaya.
when it finally does (God forbid), come to Russia immediately. I'll give you a bearhug, we'll drink vodka and pretend it is not happening. Together we can deny it out of existence.[/QUOTE]

I am cool with either scenario. The latter only if y'all still remember the series, but just put aside all these silly thoughts of them going onto a screen.
I am STILL harboring hopes that this doesn't happen.
The others never go on to some other New York...instead Roland guns them all down just for the hell of it and then shoots himself?
If they make the movie with things like ratings and who there audience is it'll be a shame.
My favorite to play Roland:
Noone...let him live in our hearts and minds alone. :)
I guess they will just have to include all king books with even a slight connection to the series.
That's what I thought when the The Lord of the Rings movies were being announced.
Boy, was I wrong.
So, I'll definitely give the DT adaptations a chance.

It's what I thought too...
 Marry me?
That's what she said.
