I have a US and a UK edition on the way. Hopefully it survives the trip from Waterstones
Ordered - thanks for the post!
I ordered one, although I’m not thrilled about the Waterstones shipping. We will see how it goes. I guess if there is a US signed version I could always cancel the UK one
What would one be worth? I have the B&N Black Friday signed copy, but may be interested in a true 1st as well.
$75 will get you a f/f signed 1st edition: see here
You may want...
What size are they? Or more properly what size book can they hold?
They fit modern first editions - here's an example

If anyone is looking for some generic traycases, you could get some of these - http://premierecollectibles.com/rare-book-collectors-box/
I have some of my rare first editions in them. Not bad for...
I think it will translate into a great film. It is like reading a textbook as opposed to seeing an experiment. It's more fun to see the action.
For me the book with so much hype, that I ended up not enjoying at all was The Martian.
That was a tough book for sure, but I actually loved it. I guess having a math/science background...
Bad reviews? It has 91% 4 and 5 star ratings on Amazon.
As a child of the 80's, I loved it. Armada, his second book, wasn't as good, but RP1 is wonderful.
A solid 9/10 for me
I've been looking everywhere for one. Every time one shows up on eBay, a lot of people bid on it. Certainly not easy to find.
So I'll throw this out there - if anyone can locate a 1/1 of RP1, please let me know. I don't want to pay a fortune, but I'd still like to find a copy somewhere. Thanks.
Are those Hebrew copies? Nice.
I have to find me a 1/1 or RP1 somewhere.
Very much looking forward to it!
