The Detta/Odetta stuff is great in the audiobooks.
My recommendation is always, "Get through the first book and then you'll be fine."
I have two friends who have asked to borrow my books which is cool.
I liked TGWLTG, but I didn't read it myself, I listened to the audiobook.
should change her status to "feisty" but it doesn't exist
takes her grits very seriously..or not
The Eddie/Susannah/Detta/Odetta thing never really interested me much personally. I kind of found them to be that annoying couple that's always making out in the corner.
Been there done that on another forum. I've been thinking of rewatching just season 6 though, but as far as discussion goes, did it for years on a LOST forum.
I love Oy, and I cried when he died. Jake and Susannah are my least favorite I guess. I don't dislike them, I just like Roland and Eddie better.
I think the book I liked the most out of his recent stuff was Duma Key, but even that I didn't love. I had very high hopes for Under the Dome. Actually, I think Under the Dome would make a good...
Which narrator?
isn't really southern if she doesn't like grits according to my husband ;)
Harry Potter...7/10 I guess because it was so damn long
likes grits
Most of what I really like isn't on right now: True Blood, Dexter, Breaking Bad
I'm not super into these shows, but they help me with mental downtime: Fringe, V
Sad about this one getting...
My dogs are barking a little bit, but there's no music playing.
Wait, I gotta go look in my itunes first.
LOTR
Red Violin
Pump up the Volume
Labyrinth (HUGE DB fan)
Pieces of April
I love both, but went with BSG because the story arc continued over all the seasons where as Dexter has a new one every season. BSG kept me guessing way longer.
Nothing memorable stands out. Oh, this documentary I watched on Netflix called "The Butch Factor" was kind of interesting.
I'm excited for the DT movies as I have not been since I hear LOTR was...
Just finally saw it on Monday.
