Here's an Excel chart of the table in the second post, first sorted chronologically, then sorted by FAS. Very geeky. Enjoy!

Aaron, could you expound a bit how Round 2 will be structured? Also, isn't that a tad too few books for Round 3, only five, out of thirty in Round 2? Is it possible to extend that to the top ten? I...
What's really impressive is Duma Key making the top ten.
Actually it's 3rd from the bottom. That is highly unfortunate. Well, better luck to it next year :)
And the table is done. All sixty books have been ranked and we have our complete overview of Round One.
By all means, do tweak it however you wish. I didn't add links to the polls, as they're all already linked in the first post. I'm sure there could be other data added.
If anyone spots any errors or thinks of ways to improve the table, do let me know.
And it's done. Now we just need the official totals for the last bracket and we should be ready for Round Two.
Unfortunately, I'll be away on a mini-vacation from 1/1 till 1/6, so I'll probably...
Thanks, guys. Yeah, it's a lot prettier this way, with the information much easier to digest and understand.
The second post of this thread is being restructured into a comprehensive table. It's a work in progress and it may look off and incomplete for a little while. Sorry about that.
And thus Round 1 closes. Merry Christmas to all!
Awaiting official FAS numbers from Aaron, but with just a glance it looks like Duma Key will be declared the winner, and Just After Sunset the...
Updated the first two posts with today's closed polls info. Just one more to go! :panic:
Excellent! Hurray for short stories!
The first two posts have been updated accordingly.
As it well should!
All the data in the first two posts in this thread has been fully updated.
I find this rather surprising as well. Didn't think any of the non-fiction books had a chance...
Added to the first and second posts of this thread designations to the current holders of the six wildcard spots. This is subject to change, as losing books in the brackets yet to close can very well...
All the data has been updated in the first two posts of this thread.
Sounds good :)
And just as the polls have closed for Bracket 8 I've added the voting info on each book to the first post. Now awaiting Aaron's FAS numbers and proclamation of the winner and...
What I think we could do then is have any book that scored a FAS of 4 and above move out of Round 1, maybe? Looking at the current results that will cover most of our winners and runners-up, except...
Well, I already described my point of view on this issue above (in post #37). But let me elaborate. I may be wrong but this is what I believe. I feel that the chronological elimination is the best...
Added a ranking of the books thus far to the second post of this thread.
