It may give you a different perspective on King vs. guns. Did you know he actually owns guns?

Oh, I think it's less "lean" and more diving off the ledge with a jetpack turned to the Turbo setting. I have a love/hate relationship with Twitter...it can be an entertaining and informative...
I have a signed 1st printing of 20th Century Ghosts somewhere that I still need to read. Thanks for reminding me :) NOS4A2 is a great book. Heart Shaped Box is still my favorite, though.
I really dig that slipcase, Marco! Very nice!
Dez, do you need a S/L Horns? I'd be interested in trading it for a couple of 1st editions from other authors on my want list. PM me for details if you're interested!
I don't have anything really extraordinary or scarce but if you're interested, send me a PM and I'll let you know what I have, Dan.
I think the general opinion here is that he's an interesting and accomplished writer. His novels are pretty good (I especially liked his first, Heart-Shaped Box) and his short stories are great!

Looking good, Tom. Great pic! Joe looks slightly scary in a goofy way (if that makes sense) but he seems like a real nice fellow.
I'm not a true Joe Hill collector but I would like to get a copy of that chapbook. Nice!
Advanced Reader's Edition has those as well.
Maybe this should be merged with the Joe Hill thread?
Are you also referring to this website? I would have agreed with you in the past but there is a reason that the 'Other Authors You Collect' subforum was established. Now virtually all Joe...
You summed it up perfectly, WDIL. I'm not discouraging anyone from buying these books because I'm sure they're going to be nice, but there's just too big a discrepancy between Joe's actual position...
I really like Joe Hill but I always felt the market wasn't ready for the 'limited edition treatment' that his books got from day 1. Most authors need an audience with a certain critical mass before...
All too true. I think almost every Joe Hill book I own is signed (and I don't even collect signed books).
... or you could just send me a PM!
No, I'm kidding. I'm curious to see how much it will go for.
I'll gladly come pick one up in Wiesbaden then!
Just curious, but what did you guys pay for your copies? I know David @ Betts sold a couple but I don't think he even listed them on his website. If you'd rather not say that's fine too, of course.
Another tidbit from Joe's Twitter feed, from October 1st (may have been posted and/or discussed before):
I did a quick Amazon search and couldn't find it - can I (pre)order it somewhere already?
