I agree 3D is very much a case by case basis. The few that I've seen weren't originally shot in 3D anyway so they were pretty underwhelming (i.e. a waste of money). Avatar is a prime example of what...

That's all I could think about when watching Ghostbusters yesterday too (well, my hard on, not yours)
God, I just love movies. Good, bad, I'll sit through just about anything. I just find them therapeutic- its almost like an addiction. Hell, I'm pretty sure it's even hereditary! That's pretty...
Lol! My only advantage is I barely watch TV. I average about 1 movie a day, while on weekends it's typically more.
I haven't seen nearly as many movies this year as I've wanted to yet, so here's my Top 5.
Deadpool
The Jungle Book
Captain America: Civil War
The Shallows
The Witch
Lol, these were my exact thoughts.
Glad to see all the Turbo Kid love! Great movie. Apple really stole the movie for me.
I loved The Witch! I agree it's not for everyone. Pacing was a bit slow but I thought they took it to some interesting places. Not that it's had much competition, but I think it's easily the best...
Well, I finished Bone Tomahawk this weekend... and really enjoyed the hell out of it! A nice little genre mash-up (reminding me a bit tonally of the underrated Burrowers from 2008 ) and had...
I just picked this up at Redbox!
Well worth a watch:)[/QUOTE]
It's next in the queue!
I tried seeing Holmes when it was in the theater, but it wasn't playing anywhere nearby.
Can't beat that! My job used to take us to the movies all the time. I miss those days.
And yet you still went and saw the new Fantastic Four...
See, hearing how terrible it actually is just makes me want to watch it even more!
I'm actually looking forward to seeing it, I just can't rationalize really spending any money on it (much like Fantastic 4).
To be fair, no. But I saw the trailer, which pretty much showed me everything I needed to see anyway! :wtf:
I will definitely see it, I will watch just about anything, but I will be waiting for...
The Terminator "franchise" is dead to me. They completely milked this thing dry a long time ago. I consider anything post T2 a remake (and non-canon) anyway.
It just feels like they're throwing...
Josh Trank on the other hand...
T1 - 8.5
T2 - 10
T3 - 4
T4 - 5.5
T5 - ...probably will wait till DVD, as I did with the last 2.
For me, the quality dropped off substantially after Cameron. So much so that I pretty much group...
