I personally have issues using the chat on my computer--it delays too long and I get left in the dust. This is especially an issue when there are several people in the chat....just my .02
Oh I think that is a great idea! I think it would do a lot toward "keeping it fun" for the bookclub mods, too, since there would be limited pressure. Even if we only rotated between 2 and 3 people...
