True, but it makes is hard to put it in the same league as The Wire or The Shield, though.
It's a tad on the quirky side, but I like it a lot.
There have been a number of scenes this season that are great examples of how to create suspense and tension.
Well, that and Lou Solverson is a major character in both seasons (Keith Carradine in S1, his younger self played by Patrick Wilson in S2).
I also liked the scene between Ted Danson and the three Missouri mobsters. Fraught with tension.
For people who like Fargo, there's an upcoming novel called IS FAT BOB DEAD YET? by Stephen Dobyns that has a serious Fargo vibe going on.
