My copy arrived last week. It's a gloriously fun book!
That was the case for me.
The B&N price was a great price for the book, signed or not.
I just tried the link again. It took me right to the product page.
Here's the URL for Cari Mora:

Thanks! I bought Cari Mora, too. $20.30? No-brainer!
Weird, worked for me. Thanks![/QUOTE]
Did you edit your post after I posted? On my phone, it had an extra "http://" at the end of it. Checking on my desktop, your URL is correct now. Weird,...
There's a typo in that URL. This is the correct link:

The Anubis Gates is a great book!
I've enjoyed most of the Powers that I have read. The standout exception is The Stress of Her Regard, which a lot of people seem to love.

I never realized until just now that the U.S. BCE gets the credits backwards on the cover! Cameron wrote the original screenplay, Card the novel based on Cameron's screenplay.

Card goes to great lengths in the introduction to explain that his book is not a novelization, but is instead a novel based on the screenplay. I got the impression that he thought only hacks wrote...
I loved The Abyss, both the movie and the novel based on the screenplay. The novel filled in all of things cut from the final release of the film (and eventually released in the extended edition on...
Very cool!

Adding my voice to the "Replay is great!" chorus!
And very cool Levin proof!

Thanks. I'll have to try the 2 mil sometime. I don't think I've ever seen one that thin. Or have I? The 3-mil polyethylene bags are nice and pliable. I had some that were thinner, and those things...
That's a good point. They are very thick. Polyethylene bags are lot more pliable. I fold the bags around the books and tape them down, and that's hard to do with mylar bags.

Bags Unlimited has those, too:

They call those "Museum Archival Grade."
Here's the text on their...
I used to live in Utah when I really started collecting and bagging and had similar issues there.
I buy poly bags from Bags Unlimited. They have various sizes, but I usually use 3-mil regular...
I'm a compulsive bagger: hardbacks, paperbacks, magazines, comics. I'm sure a lot of it has to do with keeping them climate-controlled all these years, but I've never had a problem with dampness or...
I loved Battlefield Earth, too. I was 23 when I first read it. I had never read much SF---it never really interested me---and my co-workers urged me to read Battlefield Earth. I loved it thoroughly....
