I watched Ghostbusters recently and I didn't think it held up very well.

I really don't see how either of these made it to the semifinals. Voting Ghostbusters, but it honestly wasn't sidesplittingly funny by any means.
You don't think Vacation is funny? That's easily one of my personal classic comedies.
I enjoy it, and find it funny. But I could easily name a good dozen, maybe even two dozen comedies I find funnier than it.Quote:

Yeah, I kind of feel like it would turn out differently if the same people all sat down together to freely select a handful of finalists from the same list of nominations through reasoned debate rather than through stages of elimination by dissociated polls. I've seen on other boards where they form a "best of" list by having everyone submit their own personal top 10 (or whatever number) list and then someone goes through the lists and compiles a master list from them.Quote:
