Technical problems can still be addressed in the main Dogan forum. This thread is more of a "how to" section, and a place where you can post hints and tips pertaining to the board.
I'll copy and paste in all tutorials and tips that have been posted so far, feel free to add any I may have missed :)
To respond to more than one post at one time:
1) Click the "multi" button by each post that you want to quote so that it says "multi-on."
2) Then near the bottom of the screen hit "New Reply" (not Quick Reply) or hit quote on the last post you're using.
There is an Edit button at the bottom of each of your posts. Most often, editing your post rather than amending it in a new one is better from the point of view of readability.
There is a new posts options in the tool bar to see only threads that have been posted in since you left.
The Quick Links pull down menu gets you a lot of places in just one click.
You can also hit Home on your keyboard and it will take you to the top of the page.
And End conversely.
Using IE the F11 key makes the top of the browser disappear. Press it again to have it return. F5 refreshes.
If you want to insert a link. You can just type the word you want, then highlight it and click the "insert link" button.
control+F allows you to seach for a certain word on the page;
if you would like to read all of the posts by a certain member in one thread, click "search this thread" at the top of the page. go to advanced search. type in the user name where it says "search by user name" (dur) then hit "search now." this will return all of the posts made by that user in that thread.
