I saw that - a bargain at a measly $6k.
This book had me wondering: what is the most expensive initial sale price (not secondary market) for a collectible book? I think the most I'd heard of prior to the Taschen Ferrari was PS Publishing's lettered Carrie ($4k), but then, I don't actually buy these things, so I'm sure someone here is aware of something still more expensive.

What makes a $525 book worth $4,000? I guess the same thing that makes this $30,000 book desirable to a Ferrari owner.
