That kind of a view I don't really mind. Similar to Divinity Original Sin or something. What I cannot do is the weird camera in Silent Hill and Resident Evil. I tried those (PC ports or on emulators) and couldn't get past the first few minutes. Just terrible camera controls.
are you talking about the fixed-hallway cameras? like RE1 for PS1 style?
Yes. Terrible idea.
I've been playing Borderlands 3, as well. I haven't beaten it yet, but overall I'm really loving the game.
I've been playing the crap out of BL3. Beat the game last weekend, right now just going through all the achievements + picking up Legendary loot. Are you on PS or Xbox?
i just beat one game last night and that's Link's Awakening for the Switch, i've been playing that damn game for the past 25 fucking years at least i can't remember if i bought it new when it came out. but it had been a few years since i last played it though. and i dunno if it's cause the original game was well Green and didn't have much color but than i played it on my game boy advance SP and that does give it some kind of color and until last night i was able to get past level 7. so me beating the game is a huge deal for me. i mean i had only been able to actually beat 2 Zelda games of them all and now it's 3 so that's a huge thing for me to.. the closest i had gotten to making it 3 before was In Between Worlds but than i have been unable to beat Gannon thus far. it's been awhile since i last played it but that fat fuck kept killing me each time i tried to beat him.
I still don't have a Switch :(
well that sucks but i'm sure you will get one sooner or later
I am on XBox! Beat it last night, probably going to hit the Bloody Harvest DLC after World Fantasy Con.
Don't expect too much from Bloody Harvest. I'm going through it now and it really is a fetch quest that you do multiple times for Guardian Rank. Don't even get a new Skin and Head right off the bat like in BL2. A little disappointed tbh.
How was this not premiered on Halloween?

Playing Elsinore! This must be one of the most genius ideas for a game ever conceived! Shakespeare and time-loops! Looks simple but the amount of things that can happen and which you can influence seem endless. I'm stunned:

Anyone playing Death Stranding? I'll probably start my play through tonight.
I'm going to wait for Death Stranding to go on sale. I've been following gameplay videos and it doesn't look like something I want to pay full price for.
How is the gameplay for those few hours? Are you literally just walking around delivering packages?
I can't recommend Elsinore highly enough, the writing in this game is so good! I hope everyone checks it out, that is if anyone likes cleverly well-written adventure games with a time loop element!
I just found out no Doom 2019 for Thanksgiving - moved to March 2020. Bummer. And I still haven't heard a release date for Halo for PC?
I'm playing this game right now and I cannot recommend it highly enough so hopefully this video does it for me. Possibly it's one of the best games ever made, no hyperbole:

That looks cool, but yeah dude like I said I just can't do isometric games. I can only play them for so long at a time.
Why is that? Have you tried Divinity: Original Sin? One of the greats, too. But this is just on another level. The writing is something else.
It just feels too limiting. I like open world games where I can choose my own path and tempo. Also this game looks very text-heavy, like a little more dynamism in my games.
