I'm as big of a fan of those films as there comes, but we only need 1 Rings film from here on out. Vote No Country for Old men, friendo.

Easily the worst of the three. Fellowship is the best of the three.

I need to rewatch the trilogy (haven't seen in em in like 3 years) to see if LOTR3 is really the worst of the 3 or if Matt is just talking outta his booty as usual.

I still like the third one the best.

If you've seen The Hobbit films and thought they were terrible, then you'll see the blueprint to those film in Return of the King. If you like The Hobbit films, then you probably won't see what I see. RotK is one of those films I liked a lot until I watched it a few times and more of it's flaws become apparently. Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of elements of RotK I like, but I didn't much care for the whole.

The pressure to bring the story home is always immense, especially with such high expectations, so for that I give it high marks. For me, it's a perfect ending to a perfect trilogy. In truth, much like Kill Bill, I truly view the whole experience as one long film, especially with the extended versions.
