Hi Super Sam! Glad you've joined up!
Hey gang.
Since the other site seems to be almost dead in the water, I figure it's high time I check this site out a little more.

Haha, no kidding.
It's good to "see" you guys again.
Work has been completely insane for the last few months, so I don't know how often I'll be posting in the near term.
Hi, my name is Matt and I'm from northwest Washington. I was a lurker and infrequent poster over at .net for the last couple of years. I've been an avid reader since I was a little kid and discovered The Dark Tower about 4 or 5 years ago. I read the series over a coupld of years and was blown away. Probably the best tale I've ever read. I've always loved buying books and Have picked up a few nice editions of Dark Tower books but nothing really worth bragging about.
I read part of It when I was about 10 years old in the late 80's (if I remember correctly). But other than that The Dark Tower is really my first exposure to reading Stephen King.
My best book find ever is a 1st/1st/1st US edition of the second harry potter book in mint condition at goodwill for 3 or 4 $.
I'm currently working on completing my Gunslinger Born collection (multiple copies of each variant) before I move onto larger items. I fully intend to buy a few Whelan prints and hang them in my house.
Other than that I work for a huge corporation as part of its union workforce. I went to Western Washington University where I studied mathematics.
And I collect rare music CD's of my favorite artists (cEvin Key, Ohgr, Phil Western).
Mattv2099, welcome to the Corner. Hope to see you around often.
Welcome Mattv! I look forward to hearing more from you. The perspective of new collectors is always of interest. :)
I saw Carlosdetweiller (Bob) peek in on a thread yesterday, so WELCOME BOB!! Hope to see you more often! You are REALLY missed!
