when a seller is listing books for sale, what does 'thus' mean in the title? I always see "signed 1st thus... blah blah blah" never really understood what it meant.
It means it's the first printing of a new edition of a book. So, for example, the illustrated edition of 'Salem's Lot would be a First Edition Thus, but clearly not a first edition of 'Salem's Lot. Even a paperback edition could be labeled thus, since it is a different format than the original hardcover.
Can a signature be accompanied by a date and still be considered flat signed, or would that put it in the inscription category?
Man, I am getting SO SICK OF THE COLORADO KID. LOL.... another edition? AM I right?

The Colorado Kid is one of the most confusing limited ed out there. At least for me to try and grasp.
What's the current list of CK editions available?
...there are others!

I have a couple of bookplates I need removed from old books. They are in mint shape and were a gift and I would like to use them. I need a contact to remove them and cold press ( I think that is what it is called) them so i can use them in another book. Thanks

Is the seller Alltimegreats a member here? Or does anyone have contact info?
So I just purchased Stephen King's Battleground S/L from Gauntlet press. When I got it yesterday I noticed the number was missing, so I contacted Barry at Gauntlet and he said he forgot in his haste. He said to print "111" in blue or black ink.
If I do this, would this be something I need to disclose if/when I sell it?
I am surprised they have not sold out a print run of only 125 after all these years. (BTW, this is not listed in the catalog, only the Lettered is listed).
