I'm not one for asking for sympathy or condolences, but last night I lost my best friend due to a number of symptoms resulting from old age (14 years, 4 months), and although this was my fifth dog, she was the gentlest, most perfect little animal one could ask for. All I ask is, just look at her picture, say, "What a nice little doggie, I hope she went to doggie Heaven." I don't believe in any of that stuff, but by God, do I ever hope I'm wrong about that stuff.

What a nice little doggie, I hope she went to doggie Heaven.
Sorry Steve.
Sorry for your loss, Steve.
Sorry to hear about your little friend, Steve.
Thanks guys. Your words mean a lot to me. I promised myself, no more dogs, I don't want to go through this again, but....I may break down and head to the humane society again.
What a beautiful dog, Steve, I’m very sorry for your loss!

All dogs go to Heaven. So no worries there. You'll see her again (unless you're headed downstairs!)
And yes, there are more innocent friends in need of rescue at the Humane Society.
I'm leaning more and more in that direction (Humane Society).
Steve, that is one of the cutest dogs I have ever seen. Sorry for you loss.
Losing a dog or pet is like losing a family member and I am so sorry mate.... really am.
Sending prayers Steve. OldCrow88 is correct about your puppy going to heaven.
Going to Seattle next Saturday. Have tickets for A's Mariners on Sunday.
Other than that, I'd appreciate suggestions for dining and tourist attractions to consider.
Chihuly Garden & Glass is quite beautiful. The gardens are awesome in sunlight, and the indoor exhibits are fantasies of glass. Definitely worth the trip.
Hop a ferry ride to Bremerton and back
Ye Old Curiosity Shop on the waterfront
Seattle Underground Tour
Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park (Right downtown in Pioneer Square)
Pike Place Market (Several bookstores within and salmon tossing)
What has happened to this site? I had 100's of unread messages and only about 5% were about Stephen King or the Dark Tower.
