Hate to vote against Hitchcock, but Wizard of Oz is such a classic.

Haven't seen Sabotage yet, if its good enough to get votes over WoO, then maybe its worth a look.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's our winner. There's no film like Oz.

It's a film that's a part of our lives collectively possibly more than any other film listed throughout the entire tournament. That probably doesn't make sense but maybe you get the gist

I think both Dracula and Frankenstein are far more influential than The Wizard of Oz.

It may be blasphemous, but I can't stand Wizard of Oz.

I didn't mean influential, although a strong case can be made but it's late in the day for such things. I meant that probably no film has inserted itself into our (the world as a whole) lives more, whether for good or bad, than TWoO. You can argue that's influence I suppose so I guess we just disagree.
The Cowardly Lion's costume sold at auction for over 3M and I didn't know this but it is made of real lion fur.
The last time a pair of slippers sold, it was 2M.
The Wicked Witch's hat sold for a quarter of a million some years back.
It's influence is present in The Dark Tower as well, of course Dracula and Frankenstein have had a bigger influence on King but maybe not for folks not so much into horror, I think TWOO has impacted more lives.

To me, in my limited experience, great art (subjective I know) always has it's detractors and I like that. If you hate something, it has elicited an emotion, if art has a purpose I think the bringing about of emotions is it. If it bored you or did absolutely nothing, then it has failed as art.

Can't vote for Wizard of Oz after seeing Wicked. Sabotage for me.
