First, let me say that we don't need a Terminator reboot. We just don't. You will never top the original two films. Period.

That being said I really like Mackenzie Davis. I first saw her in an utterly forgettable film called Bad Turn Worse. Her performance really stood out to me and I jotted her name down after the film ended. Recently, she has surfaced in some huge films like The Martian and Blade Runner 2049. This is a big break and if anybody can make this work, it's her.

So I guess Dwayne Johnson or John Cena is going to be playing the Cyberdyne Systems series T-800 Model 101?

James C said long ago if he ever went back to the series he would do just this to explain the age. NOW... if you have seen Captain Marvel... they can work wonders with de-aging. I have HIGH hopes for this. I cannot wait. James also said that he would be fazing Arnold out of the series. Don't be surprised if James does another 3 movies... I even see him directing the last one.

Sounds very interesting. I have heard it said that if they ever did another Terminator movie they would disregard 3 and 4 and I guess that's what they are doing. I have no problem with that. It will be interesting if it can spawn a new era of films. The real T3 is on it's way. Glad it's not a reboot and a continuation.

Me too. T2 is one of my favorite movies of all time.

Me too. T2 is one of my favorite movies of all time.

The extended cut is really good imo. To me, it explains more things that happen in the film and why they happen the way they do. But the final scene kinda closes the book on there being more (and I am not just talking about the terminator being melted down). But I am still very excited to what they do. It's one of my favorite films as well.

They already de-aged Arnold for Terminator: Genisys. I totally understand why you didn't remember that though. I'm sure you successfully wiped that film from your memory. I envy you.

Agreed thus far.......

I enjoyed parts of post-T2 sequels and I thought Genesys was okay. The least enjoyable for me was Salvation.

I'd rank the movies so far like so:

1. The Terminator
2. Terminator 2: Judgment Day
3. Terminator Genisys
4. Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines
5. Terminator Salvation
