I like it better than the other Betts remarques I think. The prominence of Margaret White's Bible and knife kind of make it for me along with Carrie's secular & sexual form through the dress, though drenched in blood is really what the central conflict was in the book, not really her power.....perhaps. I haven't read it since the 80s probably, so it is due for a reread soon. My mid-40s and gay mind may make something different of it.

Thank you. I certainly wasn't expecting to win it, but I wanted to at least be involved in the auctions this year if I could, and this was the closest to being a workable option for me that I didn't miss entirely.
